Live editing with your team
More than one person can edit a workflow at the same time. Each person sees the changes of the others at once.
See who is here
The avatars at the top right show each person who has the workflow open. You are first. Each person has a color.
features/live-editing-avatarsHover an avatar to see the name and the role of the person: Editor or Viewer. A dimmed avatar is a Viewer, who can only look at the workflow.
See what your team does
| On the canvas | Meaning |
|---|---|
| A pointer with a name | The pointer of a teammate. |
| An outline in a color, with a name over the node | A teammate selected this node. |
| A dashed outline in a color | An agent changed this node just now. |
features/live-editing-cursorsFollow a teammate
- Click the avatar of the teammate. The avatar says “Click to follow”.
- Your view moves with their view. If they open a group, you see the group too.
A frame in their color shows “Following” and their name. To stop, press Esc or click the avatar again.
features/live-editing-followAgents on the canvas
An agent, such as Claude Code, can edit a workflow for you. The agent shows as an avatar with its icon. Hover it to see “Agent of” and your name, and its last change.
The agent has no pointer. A label with its name moves to the nodes that it changes. See Agents (MCP and the CLI).
Undo your changes
Press ⌘Z on Mac or Ctrl+Z on Windows or Linux. Undo changes back only your own changes. The changes of your teammates stay.
When you are offline
If the connection stops, the canvas shows: “Offline. Your changes stay in this browser and go to the workflow when it connects again.” Keep working. tabletop sends your changes when the connection comes back.
